Driving a Radical is like nothing you’ve ever experienced. Acceleration is immediate and powerful, it corners like it’s on rails, and the brakes – well, you need to experience them to understand.

At the Radical Racing School, we teach you how to handle any car by starting with the basics such as proper racing line, threshold braking, car control and more. Short classroom sessions combined with intense track time provide the optimum environment to test your newfound skills. Our classes culminate in adrenaline filled lapping sessions that will keep you smiling for days.

Adams Motorsports Park - Since 1/8/2012

Kart Racing at Adams Motorsports Park – our 3/4 of a mile, 14 turn paved race circuit is second to none.

The sport of kart racing was born in our backyard in Southern California in 1956. Since then, it has grown to become a world-wide phenomenon, and is the first stepping stone to a career in motorsports. It is also a very fun way to go racing on its own.

Karting is easy to get into at AMP, with arrive-and-drive karting that puts you in the seat of a 60mph kart on a real race track – no slow electric karts or industrial buildings here. And when it is time to take it to the next level, AMP offers a Driver Development Program, pro shop, and club races.

Kart racers at AMP are in good company, as it is the home of Tri-C Karters, and to famous karters such as Patrick Long, Phil Giebler, Alex Barron and many more!

CalSpeed Karting - Since 1/22/2012

Picture
First and foremost, the program is built on seat time, and plenty of it. While most racing schools fill the day with talks and walks and limit the drive time, CalSpeed teaches by doing. Students spend the their time behind the wheel, learning through application, not osmosis. Second is the use of a state-of-the-art racing textbook – the World Champion Sodi SR race kart powered by a 125cc TAG engine. This potent combo delivers up to 30HP, accelerates to 60MPH in less than 4 seconds and produces upwards of 3Gs of cornering force. The third, yet far from last, major advantage is the CalSpeed campus. The international 14-turn, 3/4 mile purpose-built race track hosts many of the top kart racing events in North America.
